Having not watched the team, I have to think that they may have overscheduled just a bit. I rarely accuse a team of doing that, but only 3 home games in the nonconference is very rare. Of course, the Big East did them no favors, by making them start with three straight on the road, on top of that. That can be very taxing for a team.
