Certainly major congratulations to our incoming recruits in Cole and Moore, but I'm also happy for Wayln Napper. He's a local kid from my backyard (Ridge View HS). He's a kid who could've played either football or basketball, but likely settled for the game with less contact.

His high school teammate was a frosh with the Hoyas this season, Malcolm Wilson. They won back-to-back Class 4A High School championships in their junior and senior seasons. Congrats to Wayln!

Another very positive shout out on our 2020 recruiting class. Yourself and Dinkins had said from day 1 that these 2 were very good and stood a strong chance of being JC AA at the end of the season, well the proof is in the pudding. For a staff that was just assembled and had but a month or two to evaluate their needs they sure put together a very strong class. 2 JC AAs together with 2 very under rated guards and now a solid grad transfer, truth be told far better than I ever would have imagined.
Kudos to all involved.
The future looks bright.

Can't wait!

Plus I'll take 1 or 2 top jucos each year over some reach high school kids. Dom mind taking flyers on some hs kids but like the maturity factor sprinkled in

The tone of Moore's tweet suggested that he was disappointed with the 3rd team
Hope he comes to us with a chip on his shoulder to prove the pundits wrong

Wouldn’t it be interesting to see a scrimmage between our 5 incoming recruits against the returning players.
I would favor the new guys, Posh, Wusu, Cole, Moore, Toro.

Always interesting to see how guys do when they jump to a tougher level but undeniable that the staff has done a really great job adding talent to the roster. Excited to see what the new group brings. Also will be helpful that they're coming in with a PG who can distribute the ball at the level Posh Alexander appears to be capable of.

They would absolutely get obliterated by our returning players.

The duke would drop 40 in that scrimmage. It would be an assbeat.

Really looking forward to the new guys with our returning players. If LJ returns, and even maybe if he doesn’t, this might be the deepest team we’ve seen in awhile. How they come together will be very important. Looking forward to Year 2 of Coach MA’s tenure. Right about now we all need something to dream on.

Agreed. The 2 guys I am super excited about are Posh and Cole. I think posh can be the floor general for this team for the next 4 years. Although undersized, hes built like a brickhouse and will be a handful for opposing pgs to stop.

Cole is the other guy i have my eye on. Although we got better as the year progressed from behind the arc, we do not have a guy other teams really fear from 3. I think this is the sharpshooter we have been looking for and will be consistently knocking down the 3 and opening up the floor for other guys.

November cannot get here soon enough.

Not November--open practice in October, if they do it again, can't get here soon enough--I spent my Birthday there and will go again if held.
