Klosternan's Take on Kentucky

 Admittedly in previous threads I've proposed that Chuck Klosterman's sports columns should be taken with a grain of salt since he's really a pop culture writer who is also a sports fan. That said I found his opinion on Cal/Kentucky worth the read.

  agree it was interesting but a bit much. Cal pays great, he always has, and is as slippery as they come. His going to Kentucky was the perfect match, a storied program, an absulutely manic fan and alumni base demanding winning regardless of cost, and a coach who takes playing the game (and I don't mean basketball) to an art form.
