Seems like a routine inquiry, but article follows;

@LeeHiggins: Investigators ask @StJohnsU about forged #JuCo transcript that shows Keith Thomas earned As and Bs at WCChttp://t.co/BCnEoSXU1Y via @lohud

I've never been to a community college so I'm not sure what the classes are, but jeez that looks like a bunch of BS classes to me. Acting and theater and Caribbean studies? Not to mention the white piece of paper with the semesters out of order being called an official transcript.

I earned a 1/2 credit for a skiing class. I never touched a ski before taking the five day class and was a half way decent skier by the end of the trip. It by far the most useful thing I learned in college.

Back on topic...who is the assistant coach from a northeastern school feeding this reporter?

I took snowboarding in college but that was the on PE class I had to take.

I can't believe that is what a juco transcript looks. He would be so far behind as a junior in my opinion.

This audit should take all of week. The instructors provide the actual grades to verify transcript but I raised the issue before-----Who provided the transcript to St. John's and who was responsible for vetting it? FIRE that person ASAP.

Fortunate for St John's that he never played a game. If this reporter broke this story a month into the season we'd be screwed.

This is hysterical. Are you telling me he was admitted to school with this transcript?. He listed the same classes for two semesters, and one of the classes was College Success and the other Health and Sports for life. Haha. 4.0 for comedy.

On a serious note, woI wonder if we are better off with out him on the the court. We are doing great, I wonder if he would have thrown off the intensity or slowed the team down. Either way we are definitely better off

Provided he was a good a rebounder as advertised, I'm not in agreement that "we are better off without him." As for the controversy, sounds like the school, not Thomas, was at fault.

I guess it depends whose minutes he would have been cutting into. If it was Sir Dom's then I'm not sure we'd be better. After all, some were acting like Keith would start from day one.

Agreed Lavin would have found a way to use him effectively. Could have spelled both CO and Dom, depending on match ups. Would have given Lavin another big option, much like the roll JDR is being asked to fill. Only, by all accounts, more skilled than JDR. Don't agree that Thomas is without fault. He had to have known what the deal was.

Community colleges generally offer the same classes as four year schools.

My son graduated from Suffolk Community College last year and his transcript from there looks nothing like that. His credits were accepted at the University of Albany.

In the long run it costs us all more (including Keith Thomas) for colluding coaches and administrators at a junior college who decided to throw away a student athlete instead of doing their jobs for which they were paid tax dollars.

I just looked at the Nassau requirements for Bus. Admin and it practically mirrors my 1st and 2nd years. Fake transcript or not that course load should have been rejected by SJU.

On point Gman. SJU did not perpetrate a hoax, but it appears managed the transcript review poorly. If true, hopefully there is some accountability for this incompetence.

Respectfully disagree. That is obviously a forged transcript.

Just curious Paultz, do you know whether or not God's Gift, Sanchez and/or Bourgalt received their degree here?

Nassau has a great academic reputation. Suffolk has a very good one to.

A co-worker's daughter went away for her Freshman year and wanted to return home and go to Adelphi. They spoke to an advisor who said they would accept her and her previous credits but advised her to save her parents some money and go to Nassau for her sophomore year instead. She would take the same classes and it would be much cheaper.

Now as for Thomas' transcrip, the first thought should have been, "Is this some kind of Joke" or Are you kidding????????
