Always nice to see former players and coaches doing well after they leave St John's. Coach Kim Barnes-Arico, our former women's basketball coach, is killing it at Michigan.
Her present team is 16-2 (best record ever in Michigan history at this point in the season) and is ranked #8 in the latest AP Top 25 poll. She is the winningest coach in Michigan women's basketball history and has had 6 straight 20 win seasons. She signed a contract extension last year that goes through the 2025-26 season. Kim's total annual compensation will reach nearly $1M in the last year of the contract
