Maybe it's just how he speaks, but he certainly was not effusive when describing his time at SJU. Said it was "solid," but that he did not reach his goals.
 
His goal was the NBA during college. He did mentioned he enjoyed st johns off the record when I talked about him getting stupid techs. He had really made a name for himself in Japan (which I think he wants to end his career there) and with Overseas Elite.

Good to hear. Thanks for the clarification. I always liked him. Seemed like an affable kid. He was tremendous the first half of his freshman year and never seemed to find his mojo after that. Not sure what happened. In any event, I'd love to have him on this team.

They announced Carl Beckett at a CA game and like 2 people applauded. It was embarrassing more than anything else.

I was one of the two, like to know who the other person was.:dry
 
Me! Saw Carl play in a HS game and described him as having steel springs in his legs. He was always a fav of mine.
