I think it was a combination of not living into potential and poor utilization. He never lived into his potential but I remember this board having numerous posts about how stupidly he was being utilized by the coaches in yeas 1-3. I think everyone has a role in their own success and failures but JB had a huge accomplice and we all know his name.

 Congrats, Justin! Sometimes it just takes awhile for these kids to grow up. Now he has direction and goals!
 
Congrats Justin! Not sure what he's getting paid in Japan, but I hope he's getting a fat bonus for a tremendous season!  
 
Not sure what the level of competition is in his league, but MVP still means you are the best, so great job. JB has an NBA body, and showed flashes of being pro-caliber talent. Nice to see good things happen to a nice kid.
