‏@KieranDarcy Former St. John's forward Justin Brownlee will play for the Knicks in the 2013 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas #stjbb

And even though he didn't finish at St. John's, it's worth noting that Cedric Jackson is on the Miami Heat Summer League team as well. And getting run as their starting PG in those games.

2 Games - 2 Starts
24 minutes
2-9 shooting
5.5 rebounds
9 assists
1.5 steals
2.5 turnovers

He has zero shot to make an NBA roster but it's nice he still gets to keep the dream alive.

That really is amazing, hats off to him-- he stunk up the court at STJ-- he must have really worked on his game.

He did improve no question.
But I'm sure Norris Cole has a lot to do with Cedric on that summer team.

I think DJ is on that team also.

Watched the Piston - Heat game. The announcers drove me crazy as they had a love affair with Drummond and Stephans. Our guy, DJ, made two nice drives and hand offs to Stephans for dunks; never once did they compliment him on his assists. Instead, the ever boring Kendall Gill was annoyed at a wide open three point attempt by Kennedy with 4:20 seconds remaining in the game. He thought it was a shot you take in the first half not at this stage of the game. What? Four minutes left and no one near DJ, like Gill would not have taken that shot.

Good catch Jack... Gill was one of the biggest chuckers around.

He was also one of the NBA's best offensive players over his -- are you listening? -- 15-year career, during which he averaged 13.4 points and a .435 shooting percentage. Think Kendall Gill has earned his right to comments on players' shot selection, including -- if not especially -- DJ's, regardless of how much we love him.

No doubt about Gill making comments about a shot selection but it was a stupid one. Read my comment again, 4 plus minutes remaining, no one remotely close to DJ. And his shot was in and out.
