Josh

Nice article.  He was timid in the past and is become a beast.  We need him and buss a big reason we are playing better.  He's putting that added muscle to good use and getting it done.  I hope he keeps pushing his limits because truth be told, he's an excellent athlete and has really developed his skills.  He was mega raw when he got here and I was unsure if he'd ever get up to speed.  Let's hope he keeps making strides.

He is exactly what we need right now because he's the only one who provides it.

It's not a coincidence the defense improved significantly when he started getting minutes.

Lack of use early on inexplicable (once he was healthy) and possibly cost us a few games (e.g., Georgetown #1).

Nice article. Seems like a good kid and glad to see that he, Greg & Earlington (the three Mullin holdovers) seems to have developed a close bond and support each other when times get tough.

I'm not completely sold on Josh just yet.  We've seen two Josh Roberts over his time here.  The first looks like a superior player against mid major competition where Josh was either bigger, more athletic, or more skilled than opposiing players and played very well.    The other Josh, when playing against bigger, sometimes strong, and more skilled players resulted in a dramatic decline in effectiveness.

I think the success we are seeing now is partially a result of Anderson putting Roberts in a position to be successful in league games.   There are still opponents and circumstances where we won't see much of Roberts, and others where he will get significant minutes.   If a kid is given playing minutes where he can be successful, his confidence soars, and may even beget minutes in circumsntances where he did not have as much success in the past.

All good for Josh.  Glad to see him contributing.   He certainly does some highlight reel stuff, especially snuffing shots. .
