Jordan isn't ready and I don't think he will be that high on the draft board until he matures a bit both with his game and mentally on the court. He's got all the tools but is still raw and needs to show better decision making as well as more consistent production.
Obekpa is the nation's leading shot blocker almost every year. He finally became a beast of a rebounder this year. I can certainly see him leaving even though his offensive game still needs to take leaps like his rebounding has. I could see both leaving, but both are clearly better this season. Both would be served better after another year. Neither is a clear pick like Harkless was at this point.

Ouch marillac
Marillac is hijacking No Hope's third-person reference gig.
Lawmanfan thinks it suits No Hope better.
Come back, No Hope!

Marillac was the first to label Moe a lottery pick and one-and-done. Marillac's true feelings on Moe before he ever played a game:
10-23-2011: "Can you say first round pick?"

First round pick.
Hahaha
With his jumper and versatility Moe looks like a lock for the lottery if he is in fact 6'8.5.

"I agree. I think he stays but this kid has lottery written all over him. "
Marillac has come forward in the past explaining why he points out players faults publicly when they want to declare early. They get their heads filled with so much garbage and promises and Marillac is naive enough to think they or someone close to them will see it and it will end their compliment party. You want Marillac's true opinion of a player's pro prospectus...ask him early or via PM. After the rumors about jumping early are out....you will not get much love from Marillac.

You know I love you marillac but you cant have it both ways. I remember a few posts of the "no way he leaves before junior year" ilk.
I have followed SJU for now close to 60 years. I'm not great at it but I have a sense of who can make a payday and who can't. Jordan, can't right now; he needs a year or two. Look what time has done for Di, Green, and Porter. All three will make a payday somewhere as a result of perseverance commitment and maturity.. Jordan has the ability to be much better than them, and they h are super good. Chris is a Europe recruit right now bur he has NBA written all over him 2 years from now. He is developing very well.
How well the players do in their careers no longer makes a difference to me as a fan; but, as a Grandpa, I worry about the kids. Their level of success depends upon their ability,, their rep, and their presence as a man. Look what a great job Di has worked at to become a complete, , admirable man. How thoroughly you develop those elements is matter of time , commitment , and maturity .Both Chris and Rasheed need more time to develop.
I got mine so I shouldn't concern myself with the next guy but , WE ARE ST.JOHNS , and we owe it to the youngsters following us to root for their good judgment. .
You don't play in the D League for money, you do it for opportunity. If you can't make an NBA roster and you want money up front you go overseas. Besides better pay there are other multipliers as far as tax benefits, living expenses paid, etc...
