Went to google and typed in St Johns basketball 1964 . The search resulted in info including roster , schedule , results and what players were drafted into the pros that year . It looks like you can get this info for all of the redmen teams dating back at least into the early 60s. Enjoy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It might be of interest to some of the younger posters who have not followed SJU basketball as long as I have that we rank 15th among all Div 1programs in the amount of players we have put in the NBA! We would have been ranked 7th in all time wins if we did not have to vacate over 40 wins and many of those schools ahead of us in wins have played many more seasons than SJU. A great history to say the least! Go SJU!
One thing regarding our illustrious history is that we never won a NCAA Championship which is an enomoli in my opinion! But having said that we did win the NIT in 43,44,59,and 65 and at least in the case of the first three they were considered by many to be the better and more prestigious tournament.
Weren't we once mythical National Champ by national college BB writers?
