To all my fellow SJU fans in Los Angeles, I'd like to make plans to meet up for drinks and food near the Staples Center before the Hall of Fame Classic on Friday, December 8 at the Staples Center. Would anyone like to meet up at Yard House near the Staples Center? I am open to other options near the arena as well.

I will be making the trip out west for the game, keep me posted if there is any Redmen.com gathering. I'm sure the school will have an official outing for the Los Angeles alumni chapter as well.

I will be there as well.....going with a group that includes some ASU and Nevada alums.....would be great to meet up with some fellow sju alums/fans....

My wife and I are flying down from Sac early on the 8th, but I still don't know when the game starts. Most Yardhouses are ok for beers. Keep us updated on pre-game festivities.

SJU game vs. Arizona State is the first game at 5 p.m.

Given the game time nothing down there should be too crowded (though that's relative). The 3 LA Live bars to consider are Yardhouse, Tom's Urban (in the old ESPN Zone) and Lucky Strike as they have more substantial drinking areas than most of the other restaurants (or the lobby bars of the JW or Ritz if you're feeling fancy).

If you want a superb dining experience after the game I recommend Broken Spanish about a block away.
