Vermont head coach. Why hasn't his name been brought up? CT guy. 4 time coach of the year in the America East and 51 years old.

IT guy with no college playing experience who became a successful Div I head coach. My hero. And today is his birthday! Could he recruit at the Big East level? I still like it better than Moser which was the stupidest thing I've heard in all of the coaching fiascos of the past 3 decades.

And he has a tall point guard from Borman's program headed there next season. We need 1) a coach who seems to actually know how to coach; 2) a point guard; and 3) an assistant who can deliver players. It's so wacky it just may work!

The fact that a guy like this wasn't interviewed, or even considered before they made that absurd offer to Moser, just goes to show how utterly clueless the search committee is. They should all be fired by the board for incompetence!

As of a few years ago, he was making $275,000. If the school wanted to go cheap, they could offer him $1 million and see if he bit. There'd be money for good assistants too.

It's no secret Mike Repole and Bobby Gempesaw haven't gotten along for years. Mike Cragg had tried to bring Repole back in the mix. #sjubbZach B
