Jets must bench Sanchez

Fire Rex Ryan he starts the 2nd half with the loser again! WTF

the jersey curse continues.............................................

Finally benches this 8million $$ bust sanchez & Mac leads them to a WIN

Ryan is too much buddy buddy with his star players needs to act As a Real Boss instead of a assistant.

Rex should have benched him last week & ag. Miami

Maybe there are only a certain # of Sanchez's that can play in the universe and now that Mark is benched, maybe Orlando will be freed.....

Ryan is a clown starting Sanchez ag. jaguars

Rewarding failure is Not going to build respect as a head coach what a fool

McElrot deserved to start by helping Jets to a Win

Ryan's friendship w sanchez w cost him his job

Greg was a proven winner throughout HS here in TX, college with 'Bama but of course the Pro's is on a whole other level. I have not seen much of the Jets this year but do they have decent receivers / O-Line? I get the feeling Sanchez has not played well but he might not have much to work with either...

Greg unwisely mouthed off a bit to the media at the end of last year about how screwed up the Jets are. He may well be still in Ryan's doghouse.

This might be the end of the the line for Rex anyway.

I agree I heard Joe Namath say the same on kays show about the rookie going on a bama radio show
"saying the jets lockeroom was in trouble not united"
Greg was not given alot of PT after that in the preseason =doghouse
Ryan is too friendly & Not a true leading coach see Santonio holmes in miami quitting with no disipline by Rex the
blowhard lacking credibility!
consoling Sanchez at his locker was not professional & should have been done in office behind closed doors

The face of the jets has been Rex whos a weak BS artist that insults ny fans with postgame garbage & preseason
best team ive ever had,SB gurantees,I dont kiss belicheats rings etc.
Now if he loses to a bad Jax team it shows rex wants to be fired by staying w sanchez whos best yrs r behind him

I hope Woody sees the New Brooklyn Nets success?
The Jets belong in queens/LI & r cursed bec. Jersey is not a homefield
Woody needs to sell to a NYer asap

On the other hand the Jets stinking it up lends to great post game shows on SNY with Ray Lucas and Adam Schein Lambasting the Jets-it is pretty funny stuff.

yes indeed the jets hater Fatcessa had the sny crew on his show this week check it out at wfan.com

klecko says rex thinks were all fools saying he has 3 good QBs
The guy is a cartoon Rex no wonder ravens hired harbaug instead Ozzie newsome is smarter than tannybum & woody woodpecker

Time to get this thread going again. I only watched the 2nd half but man, Sanchez looked terrible. Forced passes, threw into double / triple coverage, dropped snaps, held on to ball too long... his body language indicates his confidence is shot. Bad loss by a bad team.

I was over him 2 years ago. This guy needs to go NOW. The longer we keep Sanchez the longer we hold back our competitive window. Fire Rex, Tannenbaum, Sparano, trade Sanchez, trade Scott, trade Holmes, trade Revis. Get a ton of picks and rebuild this team with actual PLAYMAKERS on offense.

I'm with you on most of your suggestions
Clearly, Tannenbaum and Ryan should be fired
Sanchez is a horror show. They'd better better off playing McElroy
After his poor attitude at the end of last season, Holmes should have never been resigned
I'm on the fence with Scott. He has played hurt this year but may be over the hill
I would definitely not trade Revis
I would not want draft picks in return for in any trade if Tannenbaum is making the selections

Still funny we could have had Marino. Want to hear something totally random and funny? I'm related to Dan Marino...he's my 3rd or 4th cousin.

Yup; time to see what McElroy has.

NO Tebrow let the man play the last few games. I never liked Sanchez and feel the Jets made a big mistake taking him in the draft instead of Cutler. Cutler hasnt been super but he has been much better than hot shot Sanchez who came to NY thinking he was the next coming of Joe Namath. Cutler had played with Vandy, at the time an even worse football team than they now are, in the SEC and had zero protection and did very well. Sanchez played with USC and had a strong team backing his every move. The choice was clear, and I know the Jets looked into Cutler very seriously but as in all things Jets they made the wrong move

at this point in the game, wouldn't it make sense for Jets fans to give up on semantics and stop pretending this organization is like any other. You talk about draft picks like they matter (Blair Thomas, Vernon Ghoulston)? Play calling like it matters (Tony Sporano...say that five times until you realize just how funny that is)? Who should be fired or hired? (Tony Sporano...say that five times until you realize just how funny that is)? None of this matters. None of it. Forget the X and the O...forget that you remember more missed field goals than made field goals. Forget starting 11-0 and ending 11-5. Forget the Testaverde injury. You're missing the bigger picture y'alls.

The Jets sole purpose at this point is to elevate the art of losing. This organization trumps the Clippers so far as I'm concerned. A bitter former QB who curses them so that he is the sole link to heroism in the green and white...Kotite...Mark Gastineau penalty sack celebration...Mud Bowl...crippling Drew Bledsoe to usher in the Brady era...your best head coach retired after 24 hours and caught ring fever with your rival...a good QB in Pennington who had no arm, none, but had two shoulder operations on them anyway...Keyshawn book...Cromartie naming his kids...Namath/Kobler...Joe Walton going out like he was a Kotite...the 3rd and 8 draw play for six yards that has been a staple for three decades regardless of the offensive coordinator or head coach or QB...Victor Cruz and Giants in the "Big Brother/Little Brother" Bowl...and now...two first round quaterbacks, neither of whom are any good, one too pretty the other Jesus...

Rex thought he was bigger than this curse? :) Found out, he was the ace in the Jets sleeve...if you think the Jets embarrassed themselves before, how do they top THIS? A foot fetish youtube coach who gives out snacks when mad at his team whose biggest contribution to the game will be helping to cement the reputation of the Ryan Family as Clown Royalty...a front office giving raises to players who they should cut, taking back players who publicly crap on the leadership of the team, and a fan mascot getting a week's worth of press for retiring at his post leading the spelling bee?

Just sick back and enjoy the tragic comedy that is, YOUR New York Jets. Their commitment to upping the quality of their collective losing storyline is deserving of a Kennedy Honor, an Emmy, and getting knighted in England.

NOW LET'S GO GET A DAMN SNACK!
