I hated seeing Montero go but a decent young arm who has had MLB experience is a nice addition, Pineda had the same era as nova, who our fans seem to like, with a better SO/BB ratio than Nova. He was only 9-10 last year but that was on the worst offensive team in baseball, a team that scored 300 runs less than the Yankees. Admittedly NY is a tough town to play in and others have come to NY only to flounder, but he has the tools to fight Nova and Kuroda for the #2 slot. Honestly unless Hughes turns his career around, something I really hope for, he will continue to be a 3/4 man instead of the 1/2 many thought he would turn in to. BUrnett - and Garcia was solid last year but I have no idea what we will get out of him this year.
