It's Official - Ponds Big East Scoring Leader

Now that the regular reason is over, it's official that our own Shamorie Ponds led the Big East in scoring this year. A great achievement. Note, he actually came in 2nd for Big East games only.

Sidenote, when was the last time we had a player who led in scoring?

For guys who played at least two years, Hatten's scoring average in Big East Regular Season games for his career was #1 all-time at one point (might still be, for all I know). I believe he passed Iverson by like a tenth of a point.

What about Darryl Hill? If he didn’t lead the Big East in scoring Norm’s first year, he was darn close.
