Thank you , a very enjoyable interview. No doubt the kid has both talent and size and I truly believe he will have a breakout season next year. He like other young players on the team are just learning and starting to understand their roles going forward. He is a player who plays with a lot of passion and once he forces a little less he will become a better player and teammate. Next year I can truly see him becoming an all big east performer.Paultzman" post=415446 said:https://twitter.com/stjohnsbball/status/1355279938669211648?s=21
Great thought about playing them together. I've thought about that, and we may see it in the right circumstance. Right now we are lucky enough to have Roberts contributing at all, but both are foul prone, and at present would only work in short bursts if at all.QueensBall" post=415457 said:As impressed as everyone has been by Posh and Champagnie there's a pretty strong arguement to be made that this team looks like the best version of itself when Moore is on the court and playing well. I know that Anderson hasn't really played Roberts and Moore together and we're all rightfully in love with Roberts' recent defensive play but the only moments we really, sincerly have looked like a a top 4 or 5 Big East team in my eyes have been the spurts where in addition to those others guys Moore has put us over the top by dunking things around the basket and getting out in transition. When he's focused and not popping threes or driving into 3 defenders he gives us another offensive dimension that nobody else does. How Moore finishes out the season will probably be one of the biggest determining factors in how far they can climb.
Yeah it would be really great to get a look at and I think it would really benefit Moore's game who looks like he actually may be a small forward at heart in a center's (a skinny center...) body. We discussed it on another thread somewhere I think.Beast of the East" post=415458 said:Great thought about playing them together.
