Thanks. Nerve racking. To all my fellow full and part time Floridians, stay safe and come through the storm okay.
Hope you guys stay safe. My father-in-law did he best he could to get stuff off his floors at up at higher levels. He lives on the water in Punta Gorda with a 6 foot flood level, so he is quite nervous. He is hanging out in Savannah for the storm.

“It’s imperative to get people out. We don’t shelter here in place,” added Monroe County Administrator Roman Gastesi. There’s no buildings that we can guarantee that we can keep people safe with an 185mph hurricane. There’s no way.”
Everyone on here that's in Florida just leave, and if you don't then all I can say is God Bless you and your family. I hope you make it out safe.
If it starts getting really rough just think of the Norm years. If you survived that you will get thru this. Good luck guys. Watching it on the news now
I couldn't convince a family member to evacuate. With most of fla residences 1 story, im really worried about storm surge that could top 10 feet and go very far inland. Cars are the worst place to be. If water rises, start to consider highest point in your home. This can be devastating. Prayers with you all. Of course stay inside during high winds as debris and sand can injure or kill you. I know you guys are all watching and prepared nut please dont do any ill advised
