Hello friends, we got to sit down with Chris Huey the DOBO at St. John's and the longest tenured member of the coaching staff. A big goal of this podcast I started was to bring info to the fans we haven't been able to get before. Whether that's through fun anecdotes and stories or going behind the scenes which is what Chris was kind enough to do for us.

We spoke about his time at Kansas because it really did shape him into the basketball mind and coach he is today, working under Bill Self. He worked under Chris Mullin and now with Coach Anderson, we spoke about the differences of staffs, what exactly he's responsible for (it's a lot), and the craziness of his job especially the last 3 years.

Crazy stories from the Bahamas trip and playing Michigan State, the insanity leading up to the West coast trip playing (and beating Arizona), COVID etc.

This was a lengthy interview but Chris gave such thoughtful and detailed answers, I hope you guys get a chance to listen - it was really interesting to hear for us.

Interviewing Marcus Hatten for the next episode.

Was cool hearing his story. There’s a lot there. Nice job.

it's lengthy - skip to the 17 minute mark to start the interview - the intro is a recap of the last week, with some info on recruits and the game Jones and Soriano played at NY Pro City

just listened to the fine broadcast.
its great to know that someone deeply involved with the SJU b*ball team bleeds college b-ball blood just as most/many of us on this board,

Thank you everyone! Chris is incredibly hard working and no doubt has a bright future.

Marcus Hatten interview was really awesome, I think you guys will love it. Had stories about Jarvis, playing against John Linehan, the winning Duke free throw and a lot more. That will be released on Monday the 18th.
