I think that's better than it looked. Looked like a hamstring issue on TV. That could have been bad to worse.
 
Hopefully Branch's injury is not serious. We need him desperately in the NCAA's. We need tough out the Marquette win and then rest Harrison.
 
Lavin says Harrison is banged up? I guess sitting on the bench with fouls was strenuous? Unfortunately, Harrison who has had an excellent season and has been a good story had perhaps one of his worst career games in the final home game of his senior season. I hope he has a good BE Tournament at MSG.
 
Harrison really looked ok down the stretch helping us vs. X-men. I don't think we get that win without him. If he can give us a good 26min vs. Marq, it could be the difference.

Mr. Branch, get better quick.
 
Branch could barely walk of the court after the game. I doubt he will be available before the BE tournament.

Hope I am wrong. He's a valuable player.
 
He played great today, looked like a groin at the game. Glad he is day to day, he played a huge role today.
 
I think we can beat Marquette without Branch.

Dlo barely played today, which could be a blessing. Considering the team had been off since Monday, hopefully with his limited minutes today he will be close to 100% for Marquette on Wednesday.

That's what he was grabbing. As for Harrison I thought it was a blessing in disguise that he hardly played today giving him more time to get healthy. Nothing happened in the game that I saw that would cause him to be any more banged up then he was
 
Besides the road game at Creighton, that was the most aggressive I've ever seen Branch play.

Thought it was a groin injury.

This would be horrible news on what is our brightest day in four years. He played a wonderful game today
 
Fwiw, i was at the game and he did walk off the court at the end...albeit gingerly

Seemed to be a groin, would be surprised if it were a serious knee of leg injury
 
A few thoughts on the game today -

1) I take back anything bad I have ever said about Phil Greene IV at least until the Marquette game :), what a marvelous game he played today.
2) Pointer set the tone of the game early after Harrison picked up the two quick fouls. He is having a special season.
3) Jordan was very under control today. I think playing with Branch really helped him.
4) Branch was great today. I will be sick if he misses the NCAA tournament.
5) I think Harrison will step up and play a great game against Marquette. The other guys picked him up today and he will pick them up on Wedsenday.
6) Good coaching job these last few games.
7) I wish the crowd would be louder more consistently. Maybe I am just too loud and expect too much.
 
Hope this is not another DJ Kennedy seasoner.
 
Jamal's brother just posted on Facebook that he is walking and feeling a lot better. We need him, young man played his behind off today. Got to the basket whenever he wanted. Glad to hear he is doing better.

we thought it was a groin injury from where we sat. My medical diagnosis that I told weatherman was to just get some cheerleaders to give him some bj's

I just put on my Branch jersey and started limping. Wife didn't take the bait. :lol:
