Initial AP Poll

Yup...and I feel like it's usually easier to sneak up on these kinds of teams early...like we did WVU. But then late in the season they're usually too strong.
 
As usual the Big Ten gets way too much respect in the rankings....Big East is probably the toughest conference in the Country but always forced to prove it....how do they come up with these rankings anyway...

The perception seems to be that we have a lot of good teams, but only Nova goes far in March for the most part. Which is not untrue. Teams like UConn, Seton Hall, PC, Creighton will need to start going deep in March fairly regularly to get that love. Big Ten teams are much more of a threat in tourney so they get the respect.
