Incredible Success !

Ok, I will start. From the thread title, I knew it was not about the basketball program.

Oh and by the way, thank you JSJ for the post.

QUEENS, N.Y. - For the second time in as many days and the fourth time in as many weekends, the St. John's baseball team won by way of the walk-off on Sunday afternoon, blanking Liberty, 1-0, at Jack Kaiser Stadium. St. John's (32-11) has now recorded four walk-off wins since April 14 and has won 18 of its last 19 games overall. Liberty fell to 26-20 with the loss.

Would love to see them make it to the CWS

9 of the top 10 are either SEC, ACC, or Pac 12.

Also, that 33 ranking includes an April 3rd win over 0-37 St. Peter's. Would probably be a lot higher if it wasn't for that game.

What's the average cutoff number for an at-large bid to the ncaa tournament? I know we got one last year. If I'm the Big East, I want any team but St. John's to win the conference tournament. It would probably mean an extra bid.

Wow! 0-37. I thought you were exaggerating when I first read it. Then I looked it up. How the hell is that even possible?! And according to their website, they were 0-38 last season. How unusual is this? I don't follow college baseball. Do they have a coach?

While I believe losing builds character, St. Peter’s is taking it too far.

Big series this weekend at Seton Hall. We are 11-1 in the BE and they are 10-2. This one probably decides who wins the regular season. Only one more BE series (Butler) after the Pirates.

Lost 4-3 yesterday but swept the double-header today vs the Pirates for wins 33 and 34. Just one W in the Butler series and we are BE regular season champs for the 9th time.

Would of course be nice for our “other men’s team” to get back to this level!

Down 8-1 to top 25 Minnesota.. Bottom of the 8th. Games like this we need in case we don't win the tourney.
