Chris Ledlum, St. John’s

Rick Pitino brought in a ton of guys after he got the St. John’s gig, and Ledlum — who decommitted from Tennessee — might wind up being the most important. The 6-foot-6 forward can score, and he rebounds well. He comes in with a ton of experience.

I don’t really want to say any one transfer more important.
Ledlum, dingle & Jenkins all very important Because they prob step right into starters role.
luis & Zuby barely behind as they’re just sophomores !
Taylor & Alleyne solid rotation players.
davis, Ayo & Conway came to learn from Pitino

Dingle might be better player, but Ledlum more impact for us.
we were not strong at the 4 (Taylor, Dunlap a freshman, & Drissa ?).
i look forward to Dunlap starting in a year or 2, but not yet.
dingle’s spot (assuming Luis starts at 3) more abely filled by Alleyne or wilcher

I think you can make a case for 3 guys right now as the most important transfer with a 4th who will emerge as we see how well he does.

The team needed a scorer and Dingle is capable of scoring anywhere in any way. He can score 20 a game here if it’s needed. That was a gaping hole before his commitment.

I was happy with Zuby/QS/Luis at the 4 spot…happier now with Ledlum obviously.

If Ledlum goes out and averages 3 offensive boards a game, I’ll change my tune quick 😉

I forgot about Quinn S.
Ledlum commit made him decommit.
He would have gotten a lot of the “4” minutes
