Ok a little grumpy today. Help me out here. Why is it that some posters have to post an IMO every time they post. Just by typing a response aren't we expressing our thoughts on something?

IMO stop using IMO unless you only like quoting other people's opinions.

Feel better now. Crown Royal straight fully recovered

i don't think it's appropriate to use IMO.....i only expect people to use IMHO since if they only use IMO, i feel they are being dishonest....

I'm partial to IMHO as it as a subtle element to distinguish your intent and as we previously discussed. the "H" is for humble, not honest.

Of course then there is the problem of using this with the context of the humble brag which might backfire as you then get perceived as disingenuous.

But as long as we're on the subject of pet peeves, aside from critiquing poster's grammar and online etiquette what really ticks me off are these people that have to make a half left turn in order to make a right turn. I'm in the left lane and you are turning right and you have to cut into my lane to make your right turn? Fortunately my vehicle is not equipped with an RPG because I'd use it.

I'd prefer some people be honest and use IMDO :)

Or when people post after drinking IMDO can also mean In my drunk opinion

IMVHO such drivers deserve that weaponry.

That would become the most overused set of letters in the history of the board. IMVVHO

Oh my.....clearly the season needs to start. This is the time of year the board goes delirious (see Natalie, Keira, IMO, covfefe)

I am guilty too. Soon I may have to go back to posting professional athlete names that are worse, or as bad as Cockburn.

IMO this is one of the worst threads in the history of this site. And that's saying something

Then hats off to Brellstorm and all thread contributors for raising (or lowering) the bar!
