Good for them! Beautiful day to be there by all accounts. I bet a couple of the pre Travers races and going to turn to it on Fox after I watch the 7th inning at the stadium unless Yanks show signs of a comeback.

Was scratched yesterday to race in a more lucrative one on Sunday! This horse is legit!
Thanks. I'll have to remember to try to watch that on the horseracing channel on Sunday afternoon!
Hmmm , with all the great College Football on TV on Sunday afternoon and evening , you’re going to watch a Horse Race ?
I will too but , will tape the Race to watch in between games .

Not a big football fan Sly - for me its basketball, tennis, horseracing & baseball. Will watch the Panthers game occasionally or my son's alma mater App State when they have a good team but that is about it for me with football. So i will be watching the U.S. Open Sunday but will switch briefly to catch Pitino's horse's race as long as I get post time right!
3 p.m. | Virginia Tech vs. No. 13 South Carolina (in Atlanta) | ESPN
7:30 p.m. | No. 6 Notre Dame at No. 10 Miami (Fla.) | ABC
The 7:30 game definitely peeks my interest.
College football’s big day as always is Saturday. With no NFL this Sunday they throw a couple of games on so can easily fit in a couple of minutes horse race if so inclined.
They also have a Labor Day game this year.

Im heading up to KY Downs on Wed as I have a horse running on Thursday with Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners!

Living in NC, I’m sure you know College Football is king south of Mason and Dixon’s line .
Crowds of up to 100,000 aren’t unusual .
College FB in the North East and NYC in particular is a after thought .
Columbia football is like watching a root canal on yourself and UCOnn, Rutgers , BC foot ball is nothing to get excited about . Unless you’re a student or , Alum.
Texas- Vs Ohio State today at 12 noon will be a TV ratings home run .
I just spent 2 days in Columbia SC visiting Granddaughter who is a Nursing student and the whole town is buzzing for Sundays game vs Va Tech .
1/2 the Merchandise in the Campus Book Store have the School’s Mascot “ Cocky,” featured on the apparel . SC being the Gamecocks .
Interesting to note , there are No Text books in the Book Stores , only School merchandise .
All the Text books are online .
There is No Gambling in SC. You can’t even place a bet here on anything .
Not even online as it’s blocked on fanduel , etc
