Honors Students Profiles / Very Impressive !!!

Thanks for sharing this. I have been saying for a long time that SJU should have an honors COLLEGE, and it appears that an honors PROGRAM is just semantics in terms of what other colleges are doing. Hofstra has an excellent honors college with over 1300 students. They also have a fantastic Dean of the honors college, Dr. Frisina, who is also a devout Catholic with a degree in theology who would make an excellent consideration for our next university president - high intellect, administrative experience, charismatic and engaging. Queens College has an honors college, McCauley, that students who attend gladly pronounce that they attend McCauley Honors College, not Queens College. SJU should take the plunge and rename the honors program an honors college, name a dean for that purpose, and market the hell out of it to upper tier HS students.

Thank you JSJ for posting and Beast for your excellent suggestion. Your proposal allows the school to continue its mission while simultaneously catering to a higher level of student thereby raising the schools profile and ranking.
