Heron signs overseas

Happy to see that Mustapha is healthy again and getting paid to play the game he loves. While I'm sure his two years with the Johnnies didn't turn out as he had hoped, he was probably my favorite player on last year's team as Simon & Owens were on the prior Mullin teams. Great kid on and off the court who always gave it his best effort even when his body wouldn't cooperate. Wish him much success with the Riders & beyond.

Hoping a stepping stone for him. It is not a high caliber of basketball and no one watches it over here.

Good to see Heron playing again . He just didn't get a break here in his 2 years due to injuries . The Auburn Heron was quite a Player for Pearl but , he came here to be close to home .  Ponds was already the go to Guy and tough to fit in , when you are use to having the Ball and being the first option on offense . His second year he was plagued with injuries throughout the season . We just didn't see the best Mustapha but , he was a gamer . Tried to play , even when not 100 percent . He has a good heart and will go far , after Basketball . Good luck to him .
