Here's your guy

Would he have to sit out a year ? Either way would love to look into this player

If he has his degree he would not have to sit out a year.

He would not have to sit out a year, he is graduating this summer. One of Washington Heights finest!

Jack-
You've got to modify your footer-should now be"Hired Mullin!"

I would assume if he graduated, no.

Interesting. We will see what happens. Thanks for the info GoZags and my condolences for your tough loss over the weekend to Puke

He will graduate.

I know that Few and Lavin know each other well, and am confident that Angel would end up "back home" had there not been a coaching change.

Not sure if Mullin knows Mark ... but regardless, this kid is quality ... and would not have to sit.

Right now ... I say 85/15 he'll end up with you guys ... and you'll be glad that he did.

Thank you. I've seen enough Duke games over the years to know how they play out. Despite the 2 quick fouls on our big guy ... and GU's shooting woes .... the Zags still had a chance. Ball just didn't bounce our way the last 4 minutes.

Outside chance he has two years? This was supposed to be his redshirt jr year and then he got anther medical redshirt. Thought I read somewhere that NCAA was pushing for giving kids 6 yrs due to injuries and redshirts.

Wouldn't get too excited about this kid. Horrible stats. Hopefully a serviceable backup.

Those are the stats a kid has when he's playing behind 3 future pros and can't get minutes. I'd say "if" he'd been in the rotation he'd have been 11 and 6 with a couple of blocked shots a game.

But he didn't see the floor ... and the entire rotation plus 7'1 redshirt soph Ryan Edwards are back for Gonzaga next year.

Good luck to St. John's and Coach Mullin.

With all three rotation bigs coming back for Gonzaga, Angel Nunez will transfer with his Gonzaga degree.

The "smart" money has him headed home ... hope that's the case. He's "off the charts" talented ... which is why Pitino had him at Louisville.

Thanks for the post, GoZags and congrats on the amazing season. You'll find a lot of support for your program on the St. John's boards.
