Not sure if something changed with the site...but the look of Redmen.Com as rendered by Internet Explorer seems to have changed...links to the new posts don't work, quotes using multiple posts seem to be bunched together...

Not sure if something has happened with respect to my version of IE?

Has anyone else experienced this?

if you are using IE8 and for some reason cannot use a real browser like Firefox... Try the Internet Explorer in "Compatibility Mode" I tested this myself and another user confirmed by email that this addressed the new posts/link issue.

It looks fine to me on my iPad and iPhone. Whatever change was made in the last few weeks improved the view considerably. Thanks for that, and sorry if it negatively impacted others.

It has slowed both on the IPhone and IPad. I do not use a PC. Any other IPad users out there?

I am almost exclusively on an Ipad. Occasionally on a Macbook. The only change I've noticed is that multiple quotes are bunched together without any separation and the reader has to decipher where one post ends and the next one begins. It now defaults me to a mobile view, so I figured that that is the reason.

As an aside, I wish there was a "next" and "previous" button instead of having to come out of a thread before going to another one.

All in all, a great site. Thanks Paul.

I use both IE and Firefox and Firefox is better, FWIW.

The more important thing is the fact that we have this site...thanks as always to Paul and the moderators.

the problem with Internet Explorer is that Microsoft has promised for decades now, to conform to independent standards but has never done so making Internet Explorer a major PITA for designers/developers. As a result IE has gone from being an almost monopoly among browsers to steadily declining to under 15% of total users now. I think most of these are users on corporate computers that are required to use it.

A funny news item that I saw last year was a company charging a "tax" for users who insisted upon using Internet Explorer because of the extra work required to make sites work with IE.
