Harrison: St. John's Version of JR Smith / NY Post

His shot selection is attrocious. Rather than keep the ball in the center of the court on a 3 on two break, and pull up at the foul line, splitting the defenders, he pulls up for long threes. He has almost zero sympatico with his teammates and they simpply seem to be accessories for him - the 4 guys necessary according to the rules.

His decision to pull up from 3, down by one with the clock winding down and Rutgers already in the double bonus, is confounding and shows a total lack of understanding of basketball.

One of the worst foul shooting displays from a guard I've seen ever in a St. John's game.

Not only is this guy not a pro, but I'd be surprised if he stays 4 years under Lavin.

As a money player, he is not worth two bits.

He was 8-12 from the line, you must be accustomed to watching some great guards all your life.

How bout the plethora of beautiful assists he handed out tonight. Poor "accessories".

He takes some bad shots, thats obvious, but the team needs him too. He didnt even take the most shots on the team tonight. And the reason he shoots the fast break 3's (which I dont like all that much) is because he rarely gets an open look from there during the half court.

Yea today is a terrible time to rip into D'angelo for not sharing the ball... he gave the ball up quite a bit tonight.
I was all over him earlier in the year for forcing shots when he was double covered.. tonight he drew the double team and fed passes to guys for easy dunks. Nicely done imo.

As for the last 3? eh, not ideal. It takes some balls to fire away in that situation. And I'm glad he has them, because nobody else on our team takes command like that. He was relatively open, so I'm not that pissed. But - as he matures I'd like to see him take it to the hole there.. he has to know there's like a 75% chance he gets fouled on a drive to the basket.

Short term memory, how about the five points down the stretch that won the game against Cinci? Bottom line, you live with DLo, you die with DLo. There's nobody else on this team who I'd rather have the ball in a critical situation. The kid's going to win more games than he loses.

I knew today would be bash Dee day. Good to see Redmen.com did not disappoint me.

If people are going to bash Harrison, may as well close down this site-- just plain dumb. I can't imagine this team without him.

He's the absolute heart and soul of this team. Period. A player like him comes along rarely, and we should all relish his being a Johnnie.

Agreed and we should all hope that he sticks around for at least another year. BOTE's since-deleted (but yet quoted) post is nonsense.

I agree .
