Harrison / Lavin or Ponds / Mullin

They would have complimented each other so well. Just remember how disappointed people were with dlo and the team following his junior year.

Ponds is the better Player all around . Assists, Rebounding , Steals , Scoring . DLO was a good scorer , not a great percentage shooter . I remember a lot of 9-25 games from him . But , there wasn’t a lot of good shooters on his teams either , so it was on him .

That team, on paper, was better then this year's team, IMO. The 2014 squad had more depth and balance, or so I thought.

However, the reason that team floundered was not Dlo's fault, IMO. Sanchez, Sampson, and Pointer had real trouble coexisting on the court, and they tended to get in each other's way. Two of those guys left after that year (Sampson for the pros, Sanchez because he was out of eligibility), and with no one in his way, Sir Dom thrived the following year.

Ponds, IMO, has the shoulder some of the blame for what's gone on here in the last few weeks. Not all of it, not even a good chunck of it, but some of it.

I thought it was cuz he turned 50 :-D

Two great players in their own ways... unless the team shocks me in the next week... neither of them will have ever won a tournament game which sucks.
