well whoever that poster was who hated the sixers so much that he would never root for Moe can rest easy now and root for Moe on Orlando.

Kind of sucks. I liked the idea of him playing close in Philly

Blessing in disguise for Moe...Bynum is a recipe for disaster on the floor and in the locker room.

IMO Orlando is much better for Moe. He can be part of a rebuilding young team which will give him more of an opportunity to develop rather then Philly

Man, with that Orlando roster now, Moe could be the freaking go-to guy as a rookie.

Exactly and from what i've read Orlando fans love him making him a potential early fan favorite unlike Philly fans who were lukewarm on him. Him & Nicholson are a very good rookie combo

It would probably be ideal for Moe if the Magic somehow found some way to get rid of Turkoglu and his contract... they are both small forwards.

That was me haha... I was ecstatic to hear of this trade. Philly is an awful sports town(coming from an outsider). He should develop nicely in ORL and get a nice contract after his 3rd year in free agency. Stats should look doubly good now that he has been shipped.

As a new York fan I don't really like Philly either but I would never say they have a bad sports town. They have a good one. One of the best IMO.

This is a blessing in disguise for Moe. Orlando is going to be in full rebuilding mode and there's going to be a ton of playing time up for grabs.

It stinks that he's moving so far away from his home, but this could be the best move for his career.

This reminds me of when Artest was drafted... people badly wanted the Knicks to draft him, but that would have been horrendous because the Knicks were competitive back then with a bunch of solid interchangeable players at the #2 through #4 positions. (Larry Johnson, Kurt Thomas, Houston, Spreewell and even John Wallace).

Anyway, instead Artest was drafted by a really lousy Chicago team with only a young Elton Brand being any good...

Yeah cause that Frederic Weis pick wasn't horrendous at all.

I don't think the move is that bad since Moe was doing all of his training at IMG Academies in Orlando. Plus I'm sure he'll enjoy the warm weather than all of the snow in Philly.

Apologies if this info was posted already but looks like Moe is out until mid-Nov.

That sucks

Tough blow for Moe. Hope he makes a speedy and full recovery. Anyone know the issue that required surgery?

It would have been nice to refer potential recruits to Moe's success this year in the NBA.
