Justin Burrell playing in summer league with the Golden State Warriors. Also Dwight Hardy just joined the Heat's summer league team. Good luck to them I hope they make their respective teams.

this is great news for them and the rest of the St Johns Basketball family and words cant describe how happy i am for them, but terrible for me because now i dont no what nba to root for. due to my hatred of james dolan im denouncing my fanship of the knicks until he is gone, and i told my self i would root for which ever teams harkless or hardy went to unless it was the heat, celtics, or philly. harkless went 15 to philly and hardy is on the summer team with the hate, so i guess that leaves me to choose between golden state or the bobcats

remember, Summer league is a showcase - for free agents, it's not necessarily about making the specific team you're playing for, but for the exposure you get.
That means that more imortant than the roster of the parent team you're playing for, is the roster of the summer league team they're fielding. Don't expect DWade, Miller or Chalmers will be playing Summer league - so pretty much the only Vet guard figures to be last seasons rookie, Norris Cole.
Dwight could get a LOT of minutes on the Heat's summer league team.
