Thank for your kind words RNM. Happy Thanksgiving to all of my fellow posters, the mods and of course to the man who makes this all possible, Paul. And to all of your respective families as well.

Happy Thanksgiving to you, your family and friends! I am very thankful and grateful to be on the board with each of you!. I hope when I attend my next game that its a not a nail biter against NJIT LOL!
GO SJU!

Wishing everyone on redmen.com and St John's fans everywhere a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. I hope that you have the opportunity to enjoy good food and drink with lots of family and friends. It's going to be great to be able to have a gathering at our house tomorrow. I almost forgot what it's like to entertain. It's nice to almost be "normal" again.

Special thanks to Paul who has kept us connected with each other for so many years and helped us forge many new friendships. Also, many thanks to Paultzman for his daily insight into the program that we all know, love and cherish.

Enjoy the day and stay well and safe.

Happy Thanksgiving to  all redmen.comers and their families. Feel very blessed to have 3 of my 4 kids here for Thanksgiving dinner along with a son-in-law and boyfriend.

Among many other things I am thankful this year for the prospect of a successful season for the Johnnies which I still believe is on the horizon; that's my perspective and I'm sticking with it until proven wrong.

Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Santa has arrived safely.

Beautifully stated RMN.   Happy Thanksgiving.

I hope all Redmen.com posters and your families are having a happy and most of all healthy Thanksgiving holiday!

Happy Thanksgiving to all.

It's a privilege to have been able to get to know many of you over the years

A special thank you to Paul for making it all possible

This has been an exceptionally tough year for me.  I lost my mother. My brother contracted a rare disease in which he had to have his leg amputated right below the year and is still fighting for his life.  I realized it okay to take a loss or two. Lots of things more important than a game.  Take care of your health and your family and take the losses in stride and enjoy the wins.  Stop and enjoy the small things.  Tomorrow is not guaranteed.  Happy Thanksgiving to all and many more.

So sorry to hear about your cousin USG, and prayers for your other cousin's full recovery. However it was Redmen88 that your post should be directed at.

So sorry for the loss of your Mom and for your brother's situation. Puts things in perspective. Hope you were able to enjoy a nice Thanksgiving holiday and hope your brother recovers.

Certainly painful losses, illness, and difficult circumstances are all part of the human condition.   Those of you on here that I am closest with are all experiencing this - me too.

Thanksgiving is not only a great time to thank our Creator - not our customers,  friends, or family, but to the author of life who has provided us in all ways, material and immaterial.

I often reflect on our conditions here in the U.S., not the stuff we argue about, but the relative wealth and safety we enjoy, free of war and violent denial of human rights and dignity.   A Rwandan uber driver (in Dayton on the way to our play in game) described witnessing the murder of infants by rival armies in the most brutal way imaginable.  She then expressed how blessed she was to be here and how an american family took her in and how thankful she is for her Americsn "parents".

To me, it's not enough to be thankful, but to be giving to help balance this equation of disparity of wealth, safety, and freedom that exists here verses the poorest parts of the world, here and abroad.   It's the only thing that makes sense to me, and it's very Vincentian.
