Happy 4th of July to Johnnies fans everywhere. Now that Joey Chestnut has set another world record in the annual Nathan's hot dog eating contest, I can enjoy the rest of the day with my kids and grandkids but probably won't be eating any hot dogs!!

Hope all of you enjoy your day as well. Looks like a great day for a BBQ and a few brews. Have a lot of fun!!!

my Independence Day.
woke up in florence alabama.
i put on a t-shirt highlighting some confederate generals of alabama.
went to corinth miss for the civil war battlefield.
then went to pittsburg landing for the shiloh civil war battlefield.
then drove to missouri.
i have been thankfully avoiding the battlefield of the south bronx this month,  as i am on the road..
have a happy
