Best wishes for a very happy birthday to the all time St John's scoring leader, Chris Mullin. You provided us with a lifetime of wonderful St John's basketball memories, capped by the 1985 Final Four team. You had a fabulous NBA career, highlighted by your selection to the 1992 Olympic Dream Team and the Basketball Hall of Fame.

Enjoy your special day, Chris and thanks for all of the great memories!!!

Not sure if I posted this before and it was deleted or if I screwed up as usual.

Chris got a happy birthday shout out from Tony and Mike on PTI. Long description of his illustrious career and just a little mention of his lack of success as coach.

They like STJ. A few weeks back there was one of their opening jokes about a fight and as they do Mike asked Tony the last time he had a fist fight and he said it was with Louie. This led to them waxing poetic about Louie being the nicest guy in sports. True respect from them to both STJ legends.

I unfortunately haven't caught the show more than a handful of times in years, but Tony likes them a lot. Someone once wrote in asking if St. John's was the UCLA of mediocrity and Tony got mad and called the writer an idiot. Might have called them the team of his youth as well.

PTI is a great show. Tony and Michael play well off each other
It must be very good - it's been on ESPN for a long time
Tony is from Plainview and supports most NY college and pro teams

Wilbon's starfluffer personality and lack of self awareness piss me off now. he's gotten worse as his profile grows. But Tony's great.

Thank God Louie is still around. When he goes we'll have a program with 50 years of nothing to talk about.
wish he could log on to the internet to see the nice posts
Nah, he's probably sitting on a table somewhere sipping a bottle of Perrier.:) ;)
