I also believe that he is one of the few remaining broadcasters of the original WFAN staff
Happy Birthday John Minko, the Johnnies brought home a victory on his birthday, great!
He is totally a class act, all the way around, and an excellent family man besides being a terrific broadcaster.
Poor man is battling the flu, but there he was doing our game last night, kudos to him.
Plus, Mink had double duty last night, no color commentator, as my guess is Brandon Tierney was at the Super Bowl, due to his CBS radio morning show.
I know and hate when Francesa teases Mink all the time, most especially when he teases Mink about doing the SJU games, saying essentially we're a third rate team, no attendance at our games, mom and pop operation, blah blah blah.
AND Mink went to Butler and Francesa graduated from SJU, it really galls me.
