Ahh yes the sweet sweet miasma of oppressive negativity. I had missed you in the past 24 hours since the momentary glimpse of cheerfulness and good will brought about by Samir's signing wafted through the forum.
Perhaps we should add this to the mix just to make it a bit more glum.

I was eagerly -- and optimistically -- looking forward to the next day's opener against Wagner and the start of the Norm Roberts era.

Ah yes, the Wagner game. I remember the comparisons of Dexter Gray to Ryan Gomes on this board that night.
 
I was in Vegas at the Monte Carlo sportsbook watching Syracuse/Memphis in the Coaches vs. Cancer final. I don't watch the NBA or else I never would have seen it live.
