You are an icon - the face of St John's basketball, a wonderful person, a great coach and quintessential representative of our beloved university
Thanks so much for providing us with countless fond memories through the years that we will always cherish

If someone makes it to 100, you don't wait a minute longer than you have to. Schedule a home game right now for Jan. 5, 2025. It'll be a Sunday. Play someone like Georgetown. Give him an ugly sweater with the No. 100 on it. Play the game at 11. Lou is home early, fans are home for hopefully meaningful football games. Everyone is happy.
 
On his show, Michael Kay wished him a happy bi rthday and talked about what a great man he is and how well he treated Kay who was working the St. John’s beat as a young newspaper reporter during the 84/85 final four season.
