I was trying to create this post a few days ago, but the site wouldn't accept it for some reason.

I think it would be great if the school planned a gigantic birthday party for Coach Carnesecca. He is by all means a treasure to the university. JSJ, even at a modest admission price, this could pay for the statue of Lapchick, and perhaps even fund one for Coach C.

forget about basketball for a second. St. John's University is a richer place because of Coach C. As a community we should all be so proud to count Coach among us. Best wishes for good health and many, many more.
 
Happy Birthday Coach C.!! May you enjoy many more to come. You have been, and are, the CLASS in Basketball, Whenever St. John's is mentioned, the name of Lou Carnesecca immediately comes to mind.

Happy Birthday again.....you had a great reunion with many of your favorite players last night! You should have told Walter that fur is out of style. LOL! The Maven represented us old timers well as usual.

Your sideline antics were the best especially when we beat scuse in 86 at the garden running onto to the court
as a student & giving u a high five was unforgettable!
