IMO, and I may be biased because this was during my time at SJU, this squad was the best every assembled for SJU, they could have won it all that year and made an impressive run.

UConn had our number that year, so it would have been tough. But I think we could have taken down Duke if the brackets were in a different position. We definitely weren't intimidated by them like nearly everyone else was that season.

I wish we wouldn't post ages of former players. To me they are all 25 and just a couple of years removed from playing for us.
