Gus Alfieri Court dedication

Took a trip to St. Anthony's last night to be at the dedication.
A good number of former players made the trek as well.
Tommy Hicks, a High School All-American at St. Anthony's who played in the Dapper Dan Classic made the trip from Salt Lake City. Tommy later played at Tulane and UVA.
He and Gus were inducted into the St. Anthony's Hall of Fame this past summer.
Ken Rood, who was an All Long Island player for the Friars, who later led Hofstra to to 2 NCAA appearances played a huge role in orchestrating the event and had some very heart filled words for Gus.
Billy Schaefer and Rino Grzinc represented St. John's.

Gus will be Brooklyn Net's radio announcer Tim Capstraw's halftime guest on WFAN tonight
