I think we will knock off Cuse this year...call me crazy but it's been a while and if a team catches us firing on all cylinders we can beat anyone any given day.

Following college bb for over 40 years, I can tell you that it is possible, but not probable! Let's hope!
 
Providence beat #1 Pitt a few years back, Rutgers beat #8 UConn and #10 Florida last year, etc. This is why you play the games...hell we blew Duke out of the water just 2 years ago and nearly beat them last year again. Our team may not play at that kind of level consistently, but if Sampson, D'Lo, Obekpa, Branch, Jones, etc. get hot at the right time together, it can definitely happen. We have the horses.

There ya go Moose, now you're talking! We are by no means a dominant Big East team, but I view us as a dangerous team that can sneak up on anyone just like in 2011. No one is safe...especially considering Cincy lost Gates, Cuse lose Melo and Waiters, Marquette lost Crowder, Nova lost Wayans, etc. Any team can lose to us on any given day.

What have we done that makes you think we can beat anyone on any given day?
 
Like I said, while we won't be a dominant Big East team, we have as much talent as anyone. Talent can produce wins any given day. Like I said, similar to when the planets line up, when our players combine to have a great game together, we can beat anyone in the Big East. Hell, last year we lost to Duke AT Duke by what 6, 7 points? And that was with all freshman and 0 depth without Lavin. It's like Adidas...impossible is nothing :).

Exactly. Any given Big Monday. Even the best teams have off nights and while it's not likely we all like to think this team has a very high ceiling. Let's see what we think once they have a few games under their belt.
 
Yup...no one has their A game each time. We played with a lot of ranked teams last year and beat one: ND, Zona, Texas A&M, Duke, etc. Never say never.

we will beat uconn and have a hefty glass of orange juice as we say good bye to the school that insisted the
BE add football--your football program is terrible and you will be waxed-- some times you get what you wished for.
