St. John's added their second pledge in the 2018 class on Wednesday, picking up Louisiana native Greg Williams

 
We have a lot of guards.

Lets say everyone stays. When do the new guys play? Would love to see a couple 6'8 guys fall for us next.

We have two guys 6'8" and taller coming to play next year in Josh Roberts and Sedee Keita. I feel we now need a wing to replace Bashir. It was supposed to be Sidney Wilson, but we know how that went.
 
If healthy, Boubacar Diakite, might be that wing to replace Bashir.
 
Boubacar Diakite seems to be the forgotten man. I believe kid enrolled early and is a 2017 recruit instead of 2018. I guess this allows him to work with the team this season as he works back from knee injury. Everything I have heard or seen suggests fully recovered for 2018/2019 season. I think this will be very good for his development (the time with the Program certainly not the injury). Please feel free to correct me if someone has heard otherwise.I am looking forward to see him as an "advanced" freshman next season.
 
He’s an OSNA guy. An athletic project. We will see how he progresses. Hopefully he fares better than Yakwe.
 
Always good to get a new signee, it seems we are using the strategy of recruiting the same size guys that play the same position (Classic us)!

It’s ok to recruit same size guys playing same position, as long as the classes are staggered. Ideally you want them learning as underclassman. Then when the other players graduate our go pro they can produce. Welcome aboard Gregg. Seems like a high character guy.
 
Who knows, but Boubacar looking good in the few clips I've seen of his 'progress'. We shall see.
