Great season.....

This was the most fun we have had in decades...sucks it ended earlier than we hoped and that we beat ourselves...but I want to thank the players for giving me a season to remember...Cooks, AScott, thank you for coming and being a big reason we are back on the map Zuby you are the heart and soul...Devion hope u can come back but if not thank you for being NY tough RJ you developed into a star..unfortunately today was cloudy..come back more determined and lead us...Coach RP you are this close to another final 4 run... Hopkins.Watkins and real shooter and a PG woo wee

From day one it was a well known fact this SJU team was lacking I shooting skills. Pitino has many times said you improve your shooting skills by practice but I am older than Pitino and I think that improvement is a rarity.
What Pitino did do was instill a work ethic that his players bought into and SJU enjoyed a very successful season even tough it was probably at a shooting deficit in just about every game. This team outworked its opponent game after game and they earned the support of the whole city.

It was a great season. To win the Big East regular season and conference tournament. Win 30 games, grab a 2 seed was amazing. We got our first tournament win in 25 years which was my hope for the season. A sweet sixteen would have been great though.

We drove up from NY today and my friend is driving back. It was a little frustrating
but I didn’t leave as disappointed as I expected. We spent a lot of money on tickets but it was totally worth it. Feel bad for the seniors and my fellow fans who were excited to go to San Francisco.

Thanks to everyone’s posting this season. To Maher for all the get togethers. My analytics guys DK and Adoraz. Marillac is always a blast. Got to meet Eric, NC Johnnie, Idraft and so many more.

I don’t want to analyze the game today or think about next season’s team. Just hope it as much fun.

Mase love your Podcasts.

Got to see my first ever Big East Conference Championship as a fan.

First time ever never saw a loss sitting with my 114 friends. Tons of great memories before or after the games hanging out with my friends here

Spent an NCAA long weekend with my friends from here some of the best guys I know and met new posters and guys who don’t post that much who are awesome guys

Best memory of the season and possibly my St John’s fandom was yesterday watching literally an army of St John’s fans marching down the street heading to the game

Thanks to Rick and Staff and our kids for giving me some of the best memories of my life

This is probably one of the 5 best teams in SJU history, as all have articulated above our accomplishments. My phone exploded the last few days with well wishes/ sadness for our Johnnie's. Lets enjoy the positives. As i responded to all my friends( great season disappointing ending). But WE ARE BACK BABY! LFG! GO JOHNNIE'S!

Awesome season, great kids. I'm lucky to have shared it with son and my buds. I'm looking forward to the future, we are back on the map!
My son's school bus on long island was filled with kids talking about St. John's on a daily basis over the last month.

In just 2 years, Pitino and the now strong leadership in the basketball administration have reinvigorated a fanbase and expanded it a way that I never thought would be possible in February of 2023 when many felt Robert Jones, Ryan Odom, Speedy Claxton, and Mike Boynton were the right guys for St. John's.

Thankfully Father Shanley thought big and resuscitated a program that was on life support.

It was fantastic. Such a great run and lots of great memories with my son.

We were up in Providence for the game. There is a lot of questions. When I was driving up I told my son, that there will be a game where fouls will be an issue. I was just hoping it was not the game we were at lol.

This loss will hurt for a long time for me.
