Gray Jerseys?

So was this a myth or do we really have them? I heard about this a month ago and haven't seen them yet especially in a game. What gives? I figured they may wait until our first MSG game but that too has passed.

They are real, they will come. And yes it will be a high profile game not Asheville or something.

Also don't get all excited. The black were never sold so while you might see them on the court they most likely won't have retail option this year if at all.

I agree. Great rivalry game for it. Isn't g-towns away jersey gray?
 
I just want to be able to purchase the damn shorts.

Why can't we get some white, black (and now grey) shorts available for purchase? Sheesh.

And no, Georgetown's away uni is Navy. They wear grey at home.

I have the red shorts...they are nice but they are extremely long. It is also beyond me why they can't make grey, or black ones available for purchase. They need to bring the price down too I think it's like 50 or 60 for the authentic shorts which is ridiculous. Should be no more than 30.
 
Yea I have the red HyperElite shorts, have a bunch of those shorts from different schools. I assume the only way more will be available is if we have more NCAA Tourney appearances/success.

They fit fine for me, I get an XL. Then again I'm 6'3ish.

the shorts are ridiculously over priced, I have found the same shorts for other schools for $20-$30. and they need to sell more jerseys!!!! i cant say that enough, all they have is that one pathetic pressed on cheap jersey with one number. STITCHED!! jerseys if they had those i would buy 1 in every color. (pending they expand their selection to include red,black,grey,white)

We barely get 10k people to a game. How many are going to buy stitched jerseys. Supply and demand and minimums to produce just don't jive.

Sad what it has come to with SJ gear, but on eBay a few years ago I purchased a 1985 era jersey red with white lettering in the same exact font and everything with Mullin's name on the back. Usually those are very expensive given it's stitched and all, but a place in China does it for like 30 bucks lol. I can enclose a picture if you guys want to see...it actually looks really nice. Oh, and the only option we have is that half-assed pressed jersey in Marillac for 75 bucks! SEVENTY-FIVE! How many students happen to have 75 bucks just sitting around in college when most are lucky to have 10 on them? It's almost set up to prevent fans the way it's priced. For such a low quality jersey nothing more than about 30 can be justified. I really wish we could go back to Air Jordan too...I feel like we went from first rate gear to second rate once we switched to Nike. We used to have a distinct logo that was easy on the eyes but flashy at the same time. Now it's a little more bland IMO.

Jordan is part of Nike. The only difference in Jordan brand jerseys and NIke is a swoosh vs Jordan. Nothing with regards to material.

I guess kids from other schools must have 75 bucks sitting around but STJ fans don't. Because thats the price of a jersey regardless of what school you support.

Haha, I saw those on eBay too when I was doing some searching for SJU gear and realized they were knockoffs. Definitely knockoffs, and not something I'd be proud about wearing.
