Grad Rates at CUNY Schools

CUNY 2 yr schools are populated by NYC high school grads that should be in trade schools and not in liberal arts schools. Almost all require remedial classes that few can pass and few actually obtain degrees that are marketable. It is a waste of tax dollars. These schools are a standard below most junior colleges in NYS and far below the standards of any JC's in the California system.
 
Low graduation rates are a factor which also haunts St. John's University.

The Colege Board reports that only 58% of St. John's undergrads graduate within six years.
