"He's already got a few players coming back". We have one rotation player coming back. Goodman couldn't even bother to do even the minimum level of research for this.
4 BE schools matches the most by any conference.

To be fair, the day after Pitino was hired Goodman said he is such a good coach that he was going to put St. John’s in his Top 25 no matter what the roster was.
He actually said, he'd place us in the top 15 if I'm correct. He'll likely change his rankings once the dust clears.
No don’t think he went that far Dink. Unless he said it elsewhere after the fact, his initial reaction was top 25.
Oh, okay. I thought he said that a couple weeks ago, but maybe I'm wrong.

Probably more of the latter. I don’t think Marquette is #1 overall good, but I love Shaka as a coach. He just seems to do better out of that underdog position.
Geez, much as I would luv even seeing us in the weeds around the Top 25 and as much as I believe Rick will be the guy to lead us outta triple canopy jungle, it does seem a stretch at this point with only 1 starter, maybe 1 solid recruit, and 2 'Big' projects to tap us anywhere near the Top 50.
