Good luck today my boy. @Lj_Figueroa makes his @RDBSeleccion debut with the men’s team in a friendly against Nigeria @ 12pm #EnCasa #30Way

Figgy, like Heron, seems to really be in great shape. Kudos to them and staff.

Looks like LJ has put on some needed muscle/weight. Looking good. Might be playing a lot of stretch 4 for us this season.

In close loss tonight, L.J Figueroa scored 13 points with 3 rebounds and 3 steals; Gelvis Solano scored 11 and gave 4 assists; Jhonatan Araujo and Eloy Vargas 10 points each.

Watched the 1st qtr of the DR vs. Mexico. Dominicans led 20-6 and looked very well coached. Echoing your post, Figueroa, like Heron, obviously in great shape. Came off the bench and played well, about the last half of the quarter.

Myles Powell goes off late to thwart a late Venezuela comeback. Don't see us containing him next season and can't see us beating the Hall in either game.

...And then he barely played in Saturday's game. Not sure if he was in foul trouble...ESPN3 broadcast was in Spanish.
Two takeaways:
-The Dominican team (and the game itself) is unwatchable when LJ isn't in the game
-Canasta probably means basket
