Goff's Optimism Article

I like some of the things Coach Mullin had to say:

“No give up. Ever. You got to put me in the ground. You have to bury me. That’s when I give up.”

“The easy thing is to blame [other people], give up, point fingers, and that’s not happening. We’re not doing that. That’s not how I operate, that’s now how my players operate. … We’ll stay together as a group, work through this, hold our heads high, compete. Any obstacle run through it, grab it by the neck, do whatever we have to to change it, and that’s where our focus is.”

Now if we could for once not be so thin in regards to the roster and/or the youngest team in D1, maybe we could win some games. Next year should be better...the mantra of a Johnnie fan
